Visit to the Hospital

Malfil Club made a visit to the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang on 20th January 2007 at 3p.m.

This is one of the many charitable activities which the club had planned for the year 2006/2007.

It started with packing of gifts and food items at the residence of the President Mila, the night before the visit. Among those who came to help were Zabeth, Rose, Marie, Menchie, Faridah, Ladyana, Fariz & Leilanie, Brian & Liza and some others. What were packed in the Goody Bags were 1kg Milo can, biscuits, crackers and candies; and also play-toys for the children's playground.

In total, we loaded more than 70 Goody Bags and more than 5 bags of toys. We were warmly greeted by the Matron in-charged at the front lobby of the hospital. With more than 3 stretchers, we lined up the Goody Bags onto it and strolled our way to 3 different children's ward.

This has certainly been a memorable and touching experienced for all of us....... we hear statements like, "the child is so ill and fragile but he was smiling when he saw us coming with the bag"; "pity the mother who has to be by her ailing daughter, she herself looked so tired"; "look at the smiles on their faces". .... Priceless!
