Here's an extract from a recent write-up by NST on this beautiful place.

Quote :

This beautiful, unspoilt recreational forest is just along the rocky Sungai Inki. Not only that but there is also a self-contained resort for those who prefer not to rough it out in a camp. The Kalumpang Resort has 16 chalets, some on the banks of the river. It also has dormitories and camping sites. Within its grounds are a cafeteria, gymnasium, seminar and dining halls, swimming pool and karaoke room. But for those who prefer to pitch their tents in the wild, the recreational forest has a large camp site with basic facilities like rest areas and toilets. Since it’s in the jungle, activities are jungle-based. You’ll have a whale of a time jungle trekking, river crossing, fishing and off-roading. And if you’ve the necessary equipment, you can try flying fox and obstacle course activities. However, the adventure starts the moment you enter the trunk road from the main Kuala Kubu-Tanjung Malim road, going through the quaint Kampung Pasir Putih before hitting orchards, rubber estate and dense shrubs.
