Hawaiian Aloha Charity Tea Dance 2009

After months of preparation by the committed and hardworking committee members over many planning meetings; under the firm and dedicated leadership of President Menchie, the Hawaiaan Aloha Charity Tea Dance unveiled itself in its most spectacular way...... with full (vibrant) colors and everyone was dressed to the true theme of ALOHA......

The event took place at Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 5th July 2009. More than 200 people attended this function, and celebrated the event with games, performances, dancing, singing and lucky draw raffles and such.

The event kicked off with a welcoming speech from Madam President Menchie; who thanked those who had taken the time to attend this function and at the same time.... donate to a good cause.

The Ambassodor of the Philippines to Malaysia, HE Victoriano M. Lecaros and his beautiful wife, graced the event.On top of that, the representatives of the KL Ladies Circle also supported the event, with the presence of Princess Dr. Becky Legardo, her husband, and their friends.The volcanic cake dons the event marking MALFIL Club's 27th Anniversary......The program started by a performance by the 3rd generation of the MALFIL Club members......
And followed by the performance of the 3 beautiful MALFIL Angels, doing their hula-hula.....

And hats off..... to the mesmerising beautiful ladies..... doing their version of a graceful Hawaiian dance.
Everyone were seen in full spirit and colors................ enjoying the food, the entertainment, great friends, great time. What a sight to behold.

So did our singing instructor, Lea.... the songstress of MALFIL ........

Not to be beaten............ the men showed what they are made of... and they, too, danced......
Even the children were dressed for the occasion, and equally had their share of fun-filled afternoon....... and danced.While some looked on ..... and enjoyed the show.....
Happy faces.... were seen through out the event...........
And more happy faces, when names were called for lucky draw winners.....The finale was a tribute to our beloved Michael Jackson...... with the crowd (with lyrics in their hands) singing their hearts out to two songs, "You are not alone" and "Heal the world".
May Michael Jackson rest in peace.
